Hello, Book Lovers!
Welcome to the Traverse City chapter of Silent Book Club. SBC isn’t your average book club. There are no assigned readings or discussion guides. You bring a book, any book and we read quietly, companionably together for an hour.
NEW LOCATION: Join us now on the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Grand Traverse Pie Company's original location--525 WEST Front St in the meeting room.
We gather between 10:00 and 10:20 AM. Then, we begin our "meeting" with announcements followed by (optional) brief introductions. Some attendees choose to share with us the title they are reading. Next, we just chill out in each other's company reading quietly. After an hour of reading, we officially adjourn. Some of us continue to read, some socialize/have lunch together and others call it a day.
